Adrian Okoro
Christian counselor
Not accepting new counselees at this time.
I work with men and ministry workers who are carrying responsibility while finding it difficult to speak honestly about stress. Our conversations focus on what is happening day to day, what needs attention, and where support may be missing.

My counseling approach
How I approach Christian counseling
My background includes adult discipleship, volunteer leadership, and supervised ministry-based counseling training. I take an active but unhurried approach. I may ask about a recent conversation, a decision being avoided, or a routine that no longer seems sustainable. We distinguish between problems that can be acted on now and circumstances that require patience or outside support. I welcome honest feedback, especially when a suggestion does not fit your life. The goal is a useful conversation grounded in your actual circumstances. I come from a Pentecostal Christian background. Prayer and dependence on God are important in my own life, and I ask how you want faith practices included in counseling. I do not use spiritual language to promise a result or dismiss difficult feelings. We can discuss Scripture and its application thoughtfully, with room for questions.
- Christian counseling style
- I want Scripture-guided counseling that respects my faith and I want someone from my Christian tradition or denomination
- Denominations represented or served
- Pentecostal/Charismatic
