How Find Faith Therapy handles information

Last updated June 2, 2026. This policy explains how the marketplace handles information for users, counselors, organizations, group practices, and administrators.

What We Collect

  • Account, profile, application, billing, and contact details for counselors and administrators.
  • Guided search, intro request, prep worksheet, guided reflection, lead feedback, and privacy request information you choose to submit.
  • Organization partner, group practice, campaign attribution, page event, and operational analytics needed to run the marketplace.
  • Security, consent, audit, rate-limit, and retention records used to protect the service and honor privacy requests.

How We Use Information

  • Match users with approved counselors who may fit state, issue, faith, format, and practical preferences.
  • Send intro requests, handoff notes, organization partner follow-ups, counselor marketplace reports, and operational service messages.
  • Review counselor applications, verify marketplace eligibility, manage paid counselor subscriptions, and prevent misuse.
  • Improve privacy, safety, conversion, supply, and referral operations without selling personal information.

When We Share Information

  • With the counselor or practice a user selects when an intro request, prep note, or reflection share is explicitly submitted.
  • With infrastructure, email, payment, analytics, database, and security vendors that help operate the service.
  • With authorized administrators who need access for support, safety, compliance, billing, or privacy request workflows.
  • When required by law, to protect safety, or to investigate security, abuse, fraud, or platform misuse.

Boundaries

  • Find Faith Therapy is not a counseling service. We help you find licensed Christian counselors and faith-aware mental-health professionals, then prepare for your first conversation.
  • Find Faith Therapy is not an emergency, crisis, telehealth, insurance, claims, diagnosis, treatment-plan, or therapy-session payment service.
  • Counselors and practices may have their own professional, privacy, and records obligations outside this marketplace.
  • If this is an emergency or you may harm yourself or someone else, call emergency services. In the U.S., call or text 988 for crisis support.

Your Choices

  • You can request an export, correction, opt-out, deletion, or anonymization review from the privacy request page.
  • Privacy requests are verified by email before action, and verification does not reveal whether an email exists elsewhere in the system.
  • Some records may be retained when needed for security, audit, consent, billing, legal, or dispute-resolution reasons.
