Terms of Service

Terms for using Find Faith Therapy

Last updated June 2, 2026. These terms define the boundaries for the marketplace, counselor subscriptions, organization referrals, group practice onboarding, and preparation tools.

Marketplace Role

  • Find Faith Therapy is not a counseling service. We help you find licensed Christian counselors and faith-aware mental-health professionals, then prepare for your first conversation.
  • Users choose whether to contact a counselor, and care happens directly with the counselor or practice.
  • Find Faith Therapy does not guarantee availability, outcomes, insurance coverage, care fit, or a counselor-client relationship.

Health And Crisis Boundaries

  • The service does not provide diagnosis, treatment plans, medical advice, crisis counseling, spiritual authority, telehealth, or emergency monitoring.
  • The AI prep tool is not therapy, diagnosis, medical advice, or crisis care.
  • If this is an emergency or you may harm yourself or someone else, call emergency services. In the U.S., call or text 988 for crisis support.

Counselor And Practice Responsibilities

  • Counselors must provide accurate credential, practice, state, availability, specialty, fee, faith-integration, and contact information.
  • Public visibility requires marketplace approval and credential review, and Find Faith Therapy may remove or pause profiles that fail review.
  • Counselors and practices are responsible for their own care relationships, informed consent, records, privacy obligations, professional rules, and client communications.

Payments

  • Counselor billing is for SaaS, listing, marketing, lead-management, reporting, and group-practice subscription access.
  • Find Faith Therapy does not process consumer care-session payments, insurance claims, reimbursements, or counselor fees.
  • Stripe checkout, billing, and customer portal flows are used for counselor subscriptions and are subject to Stripe's terms.

Organizations And Group Practices

  • Organization referral links are intended to help people start a private search for faith-based counseling support.
  • Organizations should not collect or forward member, client, student, or employee mental-health details through staff unless the person chooses to share those details directly.
  • Group practices are responsible for inviting only eligible counselors and keeping roster information current.

Acceptable Use

  • Do not submit false credentials, impersonate others, scrape private data, interfere with security controls, or use the service for emergency or crisis support.
  • Do not use prep, reflection, guided-search, or intro tools to harass others, generate unsafe content, or bypass consent and privacy controls.
  • Find Faith Therapy may restrict access when needed to protect users, counselors, organizations, data, or service integrity.

Privacy And Consent

  • Use of the service is also governed by the Privacy Policy and by consent language shown in sensitive flows.
  • Intro requests, prep-note sharing, reflection sharing, privacy requests, counselor billing, and counselor listings may record consent for audit and safety purposes.
  • Privacy requests can be started from the privacy request page and require email verification before action.
