Terms of Service

Terms for using Find Faith Therapy

Effective August 4, 2026. These Terms govern marketplace use, counselor contact requests, annual subscriptions, organization referrals, and preparation tools.

1. Agreement To These Terms

These Terms of Service are a binding agreement between you and Find Faith Therapy LLC, the operator of this website and marketplace. An anonymous visitor is subject to applicable law and site-use restrictions, but browsing alone is not represented as affirmative acceptance. Creating an account, submitting information, requesting counselor contact, or checking a box to accept an organization or counselor plan records the applicable versioned agreement.

If you use the service for a practice, church, school, ministry, nonprofit, employer, or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the service or submit information.

2. Eligibility And Minors

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or submit an intro request for yourself.
  • The current marketplace and intro-request service is limited to adults requesting contact for themselves. A parent or guardian may not use the active intro flow as a workaround to submit a minor's information.
  • Children and minors may not directly submit personal information through the service. Schools, ministries, and other organizations must not use the service to collect private counseling information from children.
  • K-12 and minor referral traffic is not currently approved or offered. Any future education pathway requires a separately reviewed, activated, and tested legal and safety scope; ordinary organization setup does not activate it.

3. Marketplace Role

Find Faith Therapy LLC operates a marketplace, not a counseling service. We help you compare independent reviewed biblical counselors and licensed Christian therapists, then prepare for a first conversation. Marketplace review is not accreditation, clinical credentialing, a professional recommendation, or a guarantee of fit, availability, safety, or outcome.

Find Faith Therapy provides search, profile, matching, referral, contact-request, preparation, organization-referral, and counselor software tools. Counselors and practices are independent from Find Faith Therapy unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise.

  • Find Faith Therapy does not employ, clinically supervise, direct, or control a counselor's services.
  • Profile review means that the specific evidence identified by Find Faith Therapy was reviewed against the platform's listing rules as of the displayed review date. It is not government approval, accreditation, clinical or payer credentialing, continuous verification, a guarantee that every statement remains current, or a recommendation that a counselor is appropriate for a particular person.
  • Users remain responsible for confirming credentials, licensure or authorization, location eligibility, fees, insurance, approach, availability, and personal fit directly with the counselor.
  • No counselor-counselee relationship is created by browsing, matching, saving a profile, submitting a request, receiving a predefined coordination update, or using preparation tools.

4. Counseling, Health, And Crisis Boundaries

  • Find Faith Therapy does not provide counseling, psychotherapy, diagnosis, treatment plans, medical advice, telehealth, spiritual authority, clinical intake, case management, mandated reporting, or emergency monitoring.
  • The AI prep tool is not counseling, diagnosis, medical advice, or crisis care.
  • Find Faith Therapy is not an emergency or crisis service, and requests or messages may not be reviewed immediately. If you or someone else is in immediate danger or experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. In the U.S., call or text 988 or chat at 988lifeline.org for suicide or mental-health crisis support. Outside the U.S., contact local emergency services or a local crisis line.
  • Do not use the service or wait for a counselor response when someone may be in immediate danger. The service is not monitored continuously and cannot dispatch emergency assistance.

5. Counselor Contact Requests

A counselor contact request is initiated by the user. When you submit one, you direct Find Faith Therapy to send the selected counselor or practice the information identified in the consent shown with the form so that the counselor may decide whether to contact you about availability and fit.

  • The counselor decides whether, when, and how to respond, screen, accept, decline, refer, or waitlist the prospective counselee.
  • Find Faith Therapy does not guarantee a response, consultation, acceptance, appointment, outcome, insurance coverage, or continued counselor availability.
  • Most follow-up happens outside Find Faith Therapy through the counselor's email, phone, booking link, or intake system and is governed by the counselor's own terms, privacy notice, and professional duties.
  • Secure Handoff is not chat. It stores predefined coordination codes and timestamps, not free-form conversation content, attachments, counseling notes, diagnoses, treatment information, or crisis narratives.
  • Withdrawing consent stops future platform sharing when reasonably possible, but it cannot recall information already delivered to a selected counselor or require the counselor to delete records the counselor must lawfully retain.

6. Counselor And Practice Responsibilities

  • Counselors and practices must provide accurate, current, and non-misleading identity, credential, authorization, state, scope, availability, specialty, fee, biblical counseling approach, and contact information.
  • Counselors must serve users only where legally and professionally permitted and must independently complete their own screening, informed consent, privacy notice, emergency planning, recordkeeping, billing, and care processes.
  • Before serving a person, a counselor must confirm the person's current physical location and the counselor's present license, registration, supervision, ministry authority, statutory exemption, or other lawful basis for the represented services and titles in that location.
  • Counselors must promptly update material credential, disciplinary, insurance, practice, or availability changes and must pause contact routing when unable to respond responsibly.
  • Counselors who use hosted identity verification direct Stripe to process the identity document and selfie information entered on Stripe's site. A counselor may instead request the supported manual alternative; neither path guarantees acceptance.
  • Identity verification, legal-name matching, qualification review, profile-snapshot approval, billing eligibility, and public-directory eligibility are independent gates. Passing one does not approve or waive any other gate.
  • Credential and profile approval does not itself open real-client traffic. Public visibility and contact routing also require active billing, current eligibility, and the separate platform-wide real-client-traffic gate.
  • New qualification-evidence uploads must use the private JPEG, PNG, or safely flattened PDF workflow. Find Faith Therapy may reject unsafe, unsupported, expired, superseded, or incomplete evidence and may require separate current evidence for state-license authority and Christian-practice authority.
  • Counselors may use platform-sourced information only for the contact or referral purpose chosen by the user. They may not resell it, enrich unrelated lists, or use it for unrelated marketing.
  • The counselor and practice obligations in these Terms are the binding provider terms presented during self-serve checkout. Internal agreement drafts are not external contracts and do not replace or silently add to the versioned terms actually presented and accepted. A separately signed order form may add specific terms and controls only for a stated conflict.

7. Accounts And Security

  • You must provide accurate account information, protect access credentials and private links, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
  • You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by Find Faith Therapy's failure to use reasonable safeguards.
  • Do not share counselor, organization, administrator, or private counselee access links with an unauthorized person.
  • Find Faith Therapy may require email verification, reauthentication, or additional evidence before granting access, changing ownership, or completing a privacy-sensitive action.
  • Hosted identity-verification links are single-use and time-limited. Do not share them. If a hosted attempt cannot be reopened, the counselor must start a fresh attempt or use an approved supported alternative.

8. Annual Subscriptions, Auto-Renewal, And Cancellation

Paid counselor and organization subscriptions purchase marketplace, listing, marketing, lead-management, referral-page, reporting, or related software and support access. They do not purchase counseling sessions, insurance services, client fees, referrals, or a guaranteed amount of traffic or revenue.

  • New self-serve plans are annual subscriptions, not free trials. The full annual price displayed at checkout is charged when checkout completes.
  • Basic Verified is $179.88 for the first annual term; Growth Visibility is $299.88 for the first annual term; Organization Referral Page Setup is $119.88 for the first annual term. A separately offered Founding Counselor plan is $149 for the annual term. An order form or checkout summary controls if it states a different approved price.
  • Each subscription renews automatically every 12 months unless canceled before the renewal charge. The renewal price is the price disclosed at checkout or in the applicable order form unless Find Faith Therapy gives advance notice of a price change and an opportunity to cancel before the new charge.
  • Find Faith Therapy will target a retainable annual-renewal reminder 35 days before the renewal charge. The notice will identify the plan, renewal amount, charge date, cancellation deadline, and a direct cancellation method. A higher renewal price will not be applied without fresh affirmative consent unless a different process is expressly permitted by applicable law and clearly disclosed.
  • Subscribers may cancel through the Stripe billing portal or by contacting billing@findfaiththerapy.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term, and access generally continues through that date.
  • Payments are not automatically prorated or refunded after a paid term begins. Find Faith Therapy will correct duplicate charges, clear billing errors, and charges made after a confirmed timely cancellation, and will provide any refund required by applicable law. Other goodwill refunds are discretionary.
  • Subscribers remain responsible for applicable taxes unless a valid exemption is accepted. Stripe processes payment information under Stripe's own terms and privacy practices; Find Faith Therapy does not store full card numbers.
  • Historical accounts that previously received a trial remain governed by the specific trial and conversion terms accepted for that account. No new trial is promised by these Terms.

9. Organizations, Schools, And Group Practices

  • Organization referral links help people independently begin a private search. Organizations must not represent the platform or a counselor as required, exclusive, clinically endorsed, guaranteed, or appropriate for every person.
  • For a standard self-service organization account, system verification may complete automatically only after the owner verifies the exact work email, matches the account to the official organization website, and completes the one-time domain proof shown in the dashboard. Billing and referral-page readiness remain separate system gates. A special or ambiguous account may require additional evidence.
  • A state or local counselor-supply count does not block organization account setup or system launch approval. Counselor options still vary by lawful state eligibility, reviewed scope, capacity, and availability, and no organization launch approves an individual counselor.
  • Organization system launch approval and the platform-wide real-client-traffic gate are separate. A referral page may not be publicly shared or used for real referrals while the platform-wide gate remains closed.
  • Organizations must not collect, forward, or store private counseling, diagnosis, safety, abuse, disability, employment, student, or pastoral-care information through ordinary staff workflows unless a separately reviewed and signed workflow authorizes it.
  • Organizations do not receive private search answers, counselor selections, contact requests, preparation notes, reflections, or counselor communications by default. Reporting is limited to aggregate or otherwise approved information.
  • K-12 and minor traffic remains disabled. Schools may share only a generic adult-use resource with adults. Find Faith Therapy is not a student-record system and does not conduct student wellness surveys, and no education pathway may be used unless a separate written workflow has passed legal, privacy, consent, mandated-reporting, accessibility, and safety review and has been expressly activated.
  • Organizations accept these binding organization terms at self-serve checkout. They must use the referral resource voluntarily, must not imply clinical endorsement or exclusivity, and may not receive private search, selection, request, preparation, reflection, or counselor-communication data by default.
  • Group practices remain responsible for their roster, ownership permissions, counselor eligibility, supervision, billing arrangements, and individual counselor review.

10. Acceptable Use

  • Do not submit false credentials, impersonate another person, scrape or resell information, probe security, interfere with service operation, upload malware, or bypass access, consent, billing, privacy, or rate-limit controls.
  • Do not use the service to harass, discriminate unlawfully, threaten, exploit, or contact a person without a legitimate referral or marketplace purpose.
  • Do not submit emergency reports, highly sensitive records, full medical charts, psychotherapy notes, school records, payment-card numbers, government identifiers, or information you are not authorized to share through Find Faith Therapy forms or qualification uploads. If you choose counselor identity verification, provide the requested identity document only on Stripe's hosted verification site.
  • Do not use Find Faith Therapy branding to imply employment, clinical endorsement, accreditation, guaranteed referrals, or guaranteed results.
  • Do not create, purchase, solicit, or publish a fake or AI-fabricated review; condition an incentive on positive sentiment; hide a material relationship; or suppress a review because it is negative while presenting the remaining reviews as representative.

11. Content And Intellectual Property

  • Find Faith Therapy and its licensors own the service, software, design, branding, and original platform content, subject to applicable law.
  • You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Find Faith Therapy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, format, display, transmit, and use that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the service and fulfill your chosen sharing instructions.
  • Counselors and organizations grant any additional public-profile, logo, referral-page, or marketing rights only through the specific submission or authorization shown in the service or through a separate agreement that is actually presented and accepted.
  • You represent that you have the right to submit your content and that it is accurate and lawful.
  • Any testimonial or outcome statement must reflect a genuine experience, disclose a material connection, and avoid an express or implied health, lead-volume, revenue, or outcome claim that lacks appropriate substantiation.

12. Privacy, Electronic Communications, And Third Parties

  • The Privacy Policy and the consent presented in sensitive flows explain how information is collected, used, retained, and shared.
  • By providing an email address or phone number, you consent to transactional messages reasonably necessary for account security, requested counselor contact, billing, privacy requests, and service operation. Marketing messages require any additional consent required by law and include applicable opt-out rights.
  • Cold business-to-business outreach is kept separate from counselee and consumer health information. Find Faith Therapy does not authorize counseling-search answers, referral details, preparation notes, reflections, religious-belief inferences, or consumer health data for cold-email targeting, personalization, or list enrichment.
  • The service may link to independent counselor, booking, payment, organization, or third-party websites. Find Faith Therapy does not control their content, availability, security, or privacy practices.

13. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available." Find Faith Therapy disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.

Find Faith Therapy does not warrant or guarantee counselor statements, credentials remaining current between reviews, personal or theological fit, availability, response time, appointment booking, clinical outcome, insurance reimbursement, search placement, traffic, leads, revenue, or organization adoption.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you.

14. Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Find Faith Therapy and its owners, personnel, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, lost-profit, lost-revenue, lost-data, reputational, or similar damages arising from the service or an independent counselor's or organization's acts or omissions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid Find Faith Therapy during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including responsibility for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, non-waivable privacy or security duties, statutory consumer rights, or another non-waivable obligation.

15. Indemnification

Counselors, practices, organizations, and business users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Find Faith Therapy and its owners, personnel, and contractors from third-party claims arising from their services, professional conduct, licensing or authorization, profile or organization content, staff communications, records, privacy obligations, unlawful conduct, or material breach of these Terms or a separate agreement.

An individual counselee's indemnity is limited to claims arising from that person's intentional unlawful misuse of the service or knowing violation of another person's rights. Indemnification does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by Find Faith Therapy's own unlawful conduct. The indemnified party must give reasonably prompt notice and cooperation; the indemnifying party may control the defense, but may not settle in a way that imposes an admission or nonmonetary obligation on the indemnified party without written consent.

16. Suspension And Termination

  • You may stop using the service at any time. Subscription cancellation is governed by Section 8 and does not automatically delete records that must be retained for billing, consent, security, legal, or dispute purposes.
  • Find Faith Therapy may restrict, suspend, or terminate access for nonpayment, fraud, false credentials, privacy or security risk, unlawful conduct, safety concerns, misuse, or material breach.
  • Where practical, Find Faith Therapy may request correction before suspension, but immediate action may be taken for urgent safety, security, legal, credential, or fraud concerns.
  • Terms that by their nature should survive termination—including payment obligations, ownership, confidentiality, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute provisions—will survive.

17. Disputes And Applicable Law

Before filing a non-urgent claim, contact support@findfaiththerapy.com and provide enough detail for both sides to attempt informal resolution for at least 30 days. This does not prevent either side from seeking urgent injunctive relief, using an available small-claims process, or meeting a legal filing deadline.

These Terms are governed by applicable United States federal law and the state law that applies to the parties and transaction, without creating a choice-of-law result that would remove non-waivable rights. Any court proceeding must be filed in a court with lawful subject-matter and personal jurisdiction. A later signed provider, organization, or order-form agreement may state a more specific governing-law or venue term.

18. General Terms

  • These Terms, the Privacy Policy, consent shown in a specific flow, and any applicable provider, organization, or order-form agreement form the agreement for the service. A more specific signed or accepted commercial term controls only for the subject it addresses.
  • If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
  • Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your agreement or account without permission; Find Faith Therapy may assign these Terms as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale, subject to applicable privacy obligations.
  • You consent to receive agreements, notices, disclosures, receipts, renewal reminders, and other service records electronically at the email address associated with your account. Keep that address current. You may request an accessible or retainable copy through Support. Withdrawing consent to electronic records may prevent Find Faith Therapy from providing an online-only account where electronic delivery is legally required.
  • Find Faith Therapy works to make its online service accessible and uses WCAG 2.2 Level AA as an engineering target. The Accessibility Statement explains how to report a barrier or request an effective alternative; it does not claim that every page or independent third-party service is perfectly conformant.
  • Section headings are for convenience. The words "including" and "includes" mean "including without limitation."

19. Changes To These Terms

Find Faith Therapy may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, security, or operational changes. The updated version will state its effective date. Material changes will receive additional notice when required by law. Changes do not retroactively alter a paid commercial term unless the accepted agreement permits it.
