Christian counselor profile checklist: account, plan, and publication

Start with the credential or authorization that best explains why you are prepared to offer Christian counseling. This may be certification from a Christian counseling organization, authorization from a church or ministry, a relevant degree or diploma, or another qualification you can accurately self-attest.

Gather the issuing organization, credential name, and current status, then sign the accuracy statement. That truthful signed statement is enough for the routine path. If you choose, you may also add an official source URL or a clear supporting image or document. Never upload counselee records, case notes, prayer requests, or other private care information as evidence.

Explain how Scripture, prayer, Christian guidance, church context, and Holy Spirit-dependent care shape your work. A useful description tells a prospective counselee what participation and consent look like instead of relying only on broad faith language.

State the concerns you commonly support and the limits of your role. Include how you recognize needs outside your scope, when you recommend licensed clinical or medical care, and how you handle urgent safety concerns. Have your states served, telehealth or in-person formats, current availability, session-fee or payment notes, and booking process ready. Keep these details accurate enough that a person can decide whether a first conversation is realistic before sharing private information.

Choose focus areas you can support consistently and describe the people or situations that are a good fit. Avoid guarantees about leads, counseling fit, availability, or outcomes. Your profile is your self-attested introduction to your work, not an endorsement or promise from Find Faith Therapy.

Create your sign-in with email and password, verify your email, and choose a monthly or annual plan. After payment, add your profile details in your account. Follow the save confirmation before leaving the page.

Keep original photos and any supporting files available while setting up your profile. Preview media and public wording before publication, and exclude private counselee information or claims you cannot support.

Describe your supported Christian counseling scope and truthfully attest to your listing claims. Find Faith Therapy does not independently verify or approve your identity, qualifications, scope, or profile claims. Media validation and platform safety controls still apply.

With active billing and your profile complete, preview the public page and publish it yourself. Optional quality tips never block publication. Keep your availability and service areas current; introductions also depend on the platform's current availability and each person's consent. You manage counseling relationships, scheduling, counseling fees, and records directly.
