Before you start
Complete any practice agreement and security prompts. Decide which times, services, and meeting formats you want to offer.
Follow these steps
1. Open Calendar
Choose Calendar in the counselor workspace. The page heading is Appointments.
Open appointment settings2. Review your booking settings
Set your time zone, weekly availability, and any date exceptions. Review the services, meeting locations, and booking terms offered on the page. Save each section you change. If you use Calendly, manage its available times in Calendly.
3. Connect a calendar if offered
Use the provider connection options shown, such as Google. Sign in to the intended provider account and review the requested permissions. Return to appointment settings and check the connection status.
4. Turn on booking when ready
Complete the requirements shown, select Allow new bookings, and choose Save booking settings. This lets people use your available booking options, so enable it when you are ready.
5. Check your booking page
After booking is enabled, use Open booking page. Check the service, meeting format, time zone, and available times before sharing the booking link.
6. Manage an existing appointment
Open the appointment in your calendar or appointment list. Use the cancellation or rescheduling option provided and review the confirmation. For a Calendly-managed booking, follow its management link.
What happens next
Your appointment list shows scheduled bookings and their times. Meetings take place through the external meeting tool or location you arranged.
If you get stuck
- Why are no times available?
- Check your time zone, weekly availability, date exceptions, service settings, and connected-calendar conflicts. Also read any message about new bookings being unavailable.
- How do I let an existing client book ongoing appointments?
- An inquiry does not grant this access. For native booking, use Who can book ongoing appointments? on the Appointments page. Enter the name and email the client uses to sign in, then select Add existing client. Share your booking link directly; adding them does not send an email.
Still need help? Contact support. Tell us which page you used and what happened. Leave out passwords, payment-card details, and private client information.
